About Me

Troy Mitchell Photography
Enoch, Utah, United States
My wife pounds a phrase in my head every day, it can be found on one of our wall’s at home and I believe I came to an understanding of what she is trying to tell me while I was out doing a photo shoot the other day, the phrase says “In a world where you can be anything, be yourself” I think we all get so wrapped up in our every day hustle and bustle we forget to see the beauty around us.I think in that God given beauty lies who we really are if you stop and take the time to see it. And like I said, it hit me the other day when I was shooting a small herd of wild mustangs just north of our home standing in about a foot of snow in freezing temps. waiting for the horses to come closer, while not even a slight breeze when it began to snow very lightly a pack of coyotes began to howl in the distance. I have seen many times while out in the outdoors where I have felt at one with every thing around me but never has it hit me as hard as it did on that special day. I knew right then I was doing what I loved to do and that was right where I was supposed to be at that time, just being me just being myself.
